Paula Baby BSc, DDS, MSc, Dip Ortho, FRCD(C)
I love what I do, and am passionate about helping my patients attain beautiful, healthy smiles. Orthodontics is constantly changing with new and evolving technology, and I work hard to stay on top of those changes in order to provide quality treatments that are efficient and comfortable. My patients are part of my community, and I enjoy getting to know them personally throughout their treatment process.
Education and continuing education
Prior to becoming an orthodontist, I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree from Queen's University and my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. I then earned my Diploma in Orthodontics and Masters of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. Since I completed my formal education in 1998, I have also achieved the status of Fellow with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and have become a national board examiner for the specialty of orthodontics.
As an orthodontist, I have a lifelong commitment to giving my patients the highest level of care possible. My continuing education courses and seminars help me stay current with proven methods that will help my patients achieve their perfect smile. Because my patients trust me to give them quality care, it is my responsibility to stay current with the most advanced treatments and incorporate them to my practice.
In the practice
I learn something new from each patient who comes to see me. From clinical lessons to personal stories, I am always broadening my horizons. Being an orthodontist makes me a better person, as my patients inspire me to improve not just professionally but personally as well. I know each person has something special to give, and I enjoy learning what makes them unique.
Our practice is a great place to visit! Our front desk staff are always laughing and smiling, and they are great at making anyone feel comfortable. Each member of our staff takes their job seriously, and they are always working hard to make our office a comfortable place to be for people of all ages. Our patients and families love how friendly the staff is, and always appreciate the beautiful smiles that come from our treatments.
Family and community
I grew up in the Parry Sound, Muskoka and Sudbury regions of Ontario, but London is now truly my home. Dr. Rojas is my husband, and we have three beautiful young children who keep us busy! Family time is very important to us, and we love being active with our kids. I am also actively involved in a number of school and community organizations and charities. Specifically, I feel very strongly about supporting organizations that help underprivileged children overseas.
